Artist
Art is above all an inner liberation, a happy poetry, explosive in its colors and its representations”.
Inspired by her mother, a drawing teacher, Noémie created her first works in oil painting at the age of 5.
She studied graphic design at the Intuit Lab School and began art therapy with young people with head injuries. Then, she taught her passion to students at the Notre Dame de Saint Roch school in Paris for 4 years.
She exhibited from 2014 to 2019 at the Galerie Artheme, in Paris.
The discovery of different techniques takes him towards other styles: watercolor and Indian ink inspire circular shapes and allow him to present new exhibitions. Its signature is associated with a ladybug symbol of sweetness, joy, luck and freedom. Mix the materials - upholstery nails and acrylic - to create relief.
In 2020, under the advice of her godfather Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, she abandoned the figurative to turn to the abstract. This is where his “puzzelscopes” were born, associated with his upholstery nails, which marked a turning point in his artistic life.
Thanks to this advice, she collaborated with Maison Sotheby’s then the Pierre-Alain Challier gallery.
Captivated by the metaverse, the artist created several NFTs on the Open Sea platform.
She collaborates with Maison Pierre Frey which has decided to publish four of her works in fabrics in May 2024: Romance, Daïquiri, Mirakle and Effets.
She also won a competition with the Majest art association and the Collège des Bernardins and 11 other artists, on the theme of “Fratelli Tutti” where she will exhibit a round work created on site for 5 days in July 2024.
She met Francesco Panteleone in 2023 and exhibited in his gallery in Palermo, Sicily, from May to mid-September 2024.
Noémie will soon exhibit her new works and always remains open to exploring new horizons.
